Doug has been living in Arcata since 1984

when he came here to attend Humboldt State University

Doug and his wife Jennifer live with their dogs, cat,

ducks, chinkens, and the infamous Hercules the horse

cats, dogs, horses, and beach scenes are some of Doug's favorite subjects

some people say Doug's work has a psychedelic feel to it

watercolor, acrylic, and pen & ink are his mediums
